The Pokémon Company announced today that it's official e-commerce arm, Pokémon Center, will be launching an online storefront for Australia and New Zealand.
Pokémon Centers are currently only available in other regions of the world, such as the United States & United Kingdom. According to the official announcement, we can expect products we would see at other Pokémon Center locations, such as Plush Toys, "Unique items" (assuming Elite Trainer Boxes).
This is a unique development by the Pokémon Company to sell directly to the consumer within Oceania as opposed to exclusively through retail stores. This has been touted as a "soft launch" and will possibly be used to test the waters with potential physical retail outlets in the distant future (fingers crossed).
